1.9 Million Pound Generator Moved by The Legendary Mammoet
At nearly two million pounds, this generator has to be among the heaviest loads ever transported on the roadways of North America. With a convoy of trucks pushing and pulling, this insane rig is being used to haul the generator from the South Carolina coast to its destination in North Carolina.
For those keeping score, this Mammoet Transport rig is using THIRTY-SIX axles to help spread the weight of the massive cargo and not damage the road. There are at least four large semi trucks providing power to move the generator slowly and carefully down the road, plus the Mammoet unit is self-propelled, but at 1.9 Million pounds, the cargo is just too heavy for the transport rig to move it alone.
This is one impressive transporter, and if you’ve never seen anything like this, Mammoet has more videos on their YouTube channel, so check them out!
