1200hp+ TT Corvette Z06 Makes Nasty Dyno Pulls
As time goes on, cars are making more and more power more efficiently than they had in the past. Even though that’s the case, it isn’t too often that you get to see 1200hp cars blasting around in the streets and that makes situations like this a real treat to watch.
This Race Proven Motorsports built Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is nothing more than a shell of its former self. Inside lies a 427 topped with All-Pro heads and fitted with a custom grind cam. The motor is able to breathe easy with Forced Inductions 76/83 turbos and twin air to water intercoolers. It’s all controlled by Holley EFI and shifted through a beefy RPM tr6060 transmission with an RPS quad clutch. That’s right, this bad boy is still a stick shift!
When the car finally hits the dyno, it really comes alive, whistling with all kinds of power but we will leave it up to rollers to decide just how much. In these particular pulls, the car made right in the ballpark of 1200 hp but from what we heard from multiple competitors, The dyno was a real heartbreaker, reading about 200 to 300 horsepower lower than what they expected. We’ll let you do the math, there.
Check out the BigKleib34 video below that shows this brute of a car hitting the rollers and screaming with pure horsepower at Fonse Performance’s dyno wars. This is enough to make the hair on anyone’s neck stand up. When this fresh build finally gets to racing, it’s going to be a real treat!
