1949 Ford F-1 “Old Smokey” 1200 HP Cummins Shop Truck
When it comes to the SEMA show, everything is on more grand of a scale. Everyone is trying to draw attention to their cause with a whole variety of other top notch builders attempting to do the same thing so needless to say, they’re all stepping it up a notch and going over the top.
This time, ScottyDTV takes us inside of an incredibly cool resto-mod that takes a 1949 Ford F-1 pickup truck and makes it something that nobody in the 40s would have ever believed. From top to bottom, this truck that looks like nothing more than an old beater on the outside is decked out with the best of everything.
Featuring 1200 horses of twin turbo power from a Silver Bullet 66mm and a Big Brother Schwitzer Series 91 turbo alongside a Nitrous Express system that are all making power through a 5.9L Cummins powerplant, this monster is really a swap to keep an eye on. We’re told that the truck is set up for a variety of challenges from drifting to land speed records and we have no problem believing that!
Check out the video below as we’re taken for a walk around this torque monster built by Chuckles Garage that is brought into the modern world all while retaining that classic rustic flare that really makes this truck what it is.
