1969 Camaro RS/SS First Start up in 28 Years
Think of the most sought-after cars today as they navigate through their natural habitat, turning heads and ripping around with their impressive horsepower. Now, imagine those same cars left for dead and rotting into the ground as they are ditched as they do nothing but sit for years upon years.
As unfortunate as it might be, that was the case for this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS as it was left for dead, accumulating rust and losing structural integrity for a whole 28 years before it was revived to be something worth admiring once again.
This time, we check out the result of lots of hard work, tons of long hours in the garage, and probably a good chunk of change to replace all of the parts and pieces that were simply no longer useful thanks to wretched hands that mother nature had in store for this piece of American iron.
The moment of truth happens down in the video below as the car is fired back up and is appreciated for the first time in a very long time. It’s awesome to be able to share in someone’s joy as all of their dedication finally comes around full circle and results in something tangible that the community can really appreciate!
