2008 Lifted Silverado Doing Some Badass Hill Climbing?
This hill is no joke, and the way this extended cab Silverado handles it is pretty badass. The truck is a mildly modified 2008 Silverado with a Procomp Stage 2 lift and some grippy tires, yet it makes short work of the rutted out climb.
Judging by the comments from he onlookers, the truck spends quite a bit of time off-roading, since the guys watching from alongside the trail seem to be surprised to see it freshly washed. Click the play button below and watch how effortlessly this big Chevrolet makes this steep climb, despite the path being well-worn and pretty sketchy looking. This clip just serves to show that even a mostly stock pickup is a lot more capable than most would assume, given that over half of new trucks sold these days will likely see very little, if any, off road action.
Just because you’re not planning on taking your Silverado into the woods doesn’t mean Chevy has taken offloading capabilities lightly.
