2018 Chevy Corvette ZR1 With New Aero Spoiler Hits The Nürburgring!
If you want to talk about cars that have made the most noise when it comes to their release on the scene, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is most certainly a case that has stirred the pot quite a bit. First, Corvette fans were left to wonder exactly when the car would come out. In addition, it seems like Chevrolet has been super stingy with releasing details about what’s under the hood and what else will differentiate this ZR1 from the next model down in the current Corvette Z06. The mystery behind the machine almost seems to be the most appealing part of what the ZR1 will bring to the table.
As of now, though, it does appear as if the car will finally making its way to streets near you for the 2018 model year. We’ve waited long enough and finally, we’re starting to see some solid evidence of that the claim will probably come to fruition sooner than later as camouflaged versions of the Corvette have been seen hitting the Nürburgring and on streets around the country. From what we see and hear here, the car that is slated to be powered by a 6.2 L V8 that should crank out around 750 hp really sounds the part as it absolutely opens that throttle and screams its lungs out as the driver pushes it around The Ring, collecting performance data that will allow Chevrolet to throw in a couple of final tweaks and tunes to make this thing ready for publi consumption.
Be sure to turn your speakers up as you fall into the video below that might just make you fall in love with the next upcoming Chevrolet Corvette. Chevy fan or not, you have to admit that this thing sounds absolutely mean as it rounds the corners and really opens up into the straightaways, attempting to conquer one of the most famous benchmarks that the racing community has ever seen.
