2018 OKC Street Outlaw Top Ten Small Tire Shakedown

With the cars in the original 405’s Top 10 list having upgraded to insane levels that there’s just no room for small tire racers to compete with the usual suspects on the list. So, instead of trying to compete with the OG list, the small tire racers got together and started a list of their own.

Big Rob of Big Rob entertainment caught up with the competitors when the hit the streets of the 405 to sort out the list and captured all the action as only the man that’s been there since the beginning can. I’m sure there is somebody out there right now looking at their handwritten copy of the 405 Top 10 Small Tire Cars list ready to double check my accuracy, and I’m here to tell you now, don’t bother. I don’t know where anybody was on the list coming into this particular event, and after watching through it a couple of times, I really can’t make out any particular rhyme or reason to the madness other then there was some great racing going on and Big Rob caught it all!

This isn’t so much about us sharing who ended up where on the list, or if these were even list races at all – although I’m pretty sure they counted for something – it’s more about watching just how hard these small tire cars are able too hook on the backroads of the 405 and how much fun these races have to be for the drivers and well as those on hand to watch the fun unfold. One of the most impressive cars to watch, at least as it’s leaving the line, is the G-Body known as Dynomax as it yanks the front tires pass after pass. There’s another car that has no problem pulling the front tires as well, a turbocharged Nova known as The Unicorn that not only bites hard and runs strong, but throws some cool fireballs while it’s building boost on the starting line.
