2500HP GTR on RAILS into the 6’s!
If you’ve spent any substantial amount of time around the world drag racing, you know that the Nissan GT-R is a formidable monster on the track. Straight out of the box, this thing has a lot to offer and is probably one of the most premium performance machines that money can buy. However, even past that, it’s definitely not easy to accomplish certain goals within the platform with one of those being the incredibly elusive and highly sought after club that has managed to take the GT-R and punch it into the six-second range in a quarter mile of racing surface.
This time, we check in with a company that has been known for putting their own special touch on the platform as they have really cornered out their own section of the market as they make their products go faster and faster, drawing more people into the already intense allure of the all-wheel-drive Nissan performance monster. To say that T1 Race Development has it figured out is definitely an accurate statement but if you ask them, will tell you that they’re constantly developing and trying harder, attempting to stretch out the components at hand just a little bit further to see how fast they can make these cars go at full tilt.
The journey never stops so be sure to check out the video below from the guys over at That Racing Channel as they take us inside of a couple of T1 cars that are really built to impress. Once you press that play button, you’d better be ready to go on a journey that has a couple of insane cars sticking to a set of rails, or so it would seem, as they rocket down the track at Royal Purple Raceway, laying down some passes that are definitely hard to forget.
