345CL Excavator Pulls Out 2 Deere Dozers From a Canal “Stuck?”
It’s not often dozers get stuck so bad they have to be rescued, but this highway construction crew managed to sink one, only have a their second dozer also get stuck trying to rescue the first one. Luckily for both dozer operators, the crew has a massive 345CL excavator – and a skilled, patient operator – on hand to save the day.
For the dozers, working on finishing the slopes along this canal, the ground was just too soft and the slope too steep, resulting in both of them sliding haphazardly into he muddy canal. The excavator driver is able to reach both of them from the relative safety of the roadway, where he doesn’t have to worry about joining the dozers in the soupy mess. Instead, he carefully drags them from their predicament, using the excavator’s massive bucket to pull on the dozers’ bulky blades as he cautiously maneuvers to find the best angle from which to pull.
After just a couple of minutes with each dozer, he drags them back up onto the slope, where they’re able to return to the job at hand.
