6 Cylinder Takes on Jeep Trackhawk and WINS!?
When it comes to racing, there are a lot of different platforms to be appreciated. With all of these different corners of the community to choose from, the options are pretty much unlimited as you can draw from any bank of the automotive community and pick two vehicles that are completely different, however, end up being a blast to watch as they scramble their way down the drag strip together, putting on a show for all of the spectators as they show what they’ve got and bring together different concepts in one awesome race!
This time, we check out the opening weekend from Cecil County Dragway as a little bit of test and tune action is going down when a pair of very impressive vehicles in the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and Buick T Type both line up several times to take their best crack at pushing home a new personal best when it comes to their quarter mile times. It turns out that both drivers were doing a lot of figuring out with their respective vehicles, either trying to tweak the set up in the case of the Buick that had a good amount of work done to it or figuring out exactly how to get the launch down in the case of the Jeep that is pretty much showroom stock.
Anyways, watching these two blast their way down the track together is a pure joy to watch, no matter what different planes of performance they are on. If you follow along with the video below, you’ll be in for real treat as these two vehicles definitely stretch out their legs and show you what it’s like to roll down the strip and have a great time. We have to say that you can’t go wrong with either lane in a race like this!
