While the Mazda Miata is a recognized as a fun sports car, it doesn’t quite have the power under the hood to compete in a straight line with most cars that are set up for drag racing.

This Miata, though, has a little bit of a surprise under the hood to fend off any potential competitors and it turns many heads along the way.

We see the 600rwhp car in action as it rows past a 3-series BMW with bolt-ons like it’s nothing. With such a lightweight platform, this thing takes off like a rocket ship.
