900 Horsepower EcoBoost Mustang Comes To SEMA
SEMA is just around the corner. As I write this, there are only 6 days, 14 hours, 52 minutes and 15 seconds until the greatest car show on earth. Everybody is excited to see the next greatest thing at the show, but are you ready to see the controversial EcoBoost Mustang go Hulk? The team at Bisimoto is undertaking the task of turning a run of the mill EcoBoost Mustang into a 900-horsepower tire-shredding monster. Who need eight cylinders and a supercharger to produce over 700 horsepower? Take notes Hellcat…
They haven’t revealed too much about this boosted pony, but they did let on a little bit. Taking this 2.3-liter 4-banger that produces 310 horsepower and squeezing 590 extra ponies out of it is no easy task. Bisimoto saying that they have designed 14 new engine and chassis components and installed other aftermarket parts to back it all up. The motor has been taken apart and beefed up with Arias forged pistons and a custom camshaft built by Bisimoto. It also has a custom exhaust system, a Turbonetics BTX7668 snail, Spearco intercooler, BuddyClub brakes, and a set of killer Fifteen52 wheels with Toyo R888 rubber. That takes care of the go-fast goodies, but it’s SEMA… If you don’t have a body-kit, you get turned away rumor has it. They put an AirDesign body kit on the Mustang to give it that killer look. I think the wheels are what really will separate is from the rest visually. The full roll cage will probably make people think twice as well. Who else can’t wait to see the “BisiBoost” Mustang?
