Minecraft Creator Purchases MEGA Mansion For 70 Million w/ INSANE GARAGE
Next time you think it’s cool to pick on the nerdy kid, check out this story about Markus “Notch” Persson’s new house, the most expensive sale in Beverly Hills history! It might be out of most of our budgets but it’s still fun to take a look!! This place has all that and a bag of chips.
From what we understand it only took six days of this house being on the market before the creator of Minecraft scooped it up over the likes of Beyonce and Jay-Z in a bidding war.
How did he get this much loot? From what we understand, he sold his company, Mojang, to Microsoft for a cool $2.5 billion. That’s more than enough to buy a few of these bad boys. Just when you thought that the nerdy kid designing video games in the back of your class wouldn’t amount to much – he just did!
When you check out the video walkthrough of this home, you’ll learn both why it was able to shatter records and why in the world we would feature it on Speed Society. The gear head potential in this pad is endless! Most of us would love to have a showcase like this in our living rooms.
As we learn from the DuPont Registry, “both the garage and the basement levels of this home offer viewing areas for the most spectacular vehicles in Persson’s collection.” One of which includes the likes of a Bugatti Veyron.
You can also see some functionality with the hydraulic lifts of the drive-in garage and rotating displays that can be found in the basement.
To match the stellar garage conditions, Persson also scooped up a host of classic and exotic cars to furnish the place. Aside from this focal point, the house does a pretty good job of speaking for itself as outlined in the video below. What cars would you select to fill this ultimate garage?
