AWESOME 1952 Buick Super Riviera At Bonneville

If you thought that the 1952 Buick Super Riviera had style and flair before, then you’re probably going to fall in love with “Bombshell Betty,” the highly modified inline 8-cylinder Super Riviera belonging to Jeff Brock.

What makes this car so special? Well, aside from being built for speed, the Buick is also a world record holder. When reaching speeds of just a tad over 165mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats, the lead sled reaches the plateau of fastest in the XO class, consisting of only inline engines.

Check out the video below to witness the record pass and a pass to back it up just for good measure. With a little bit of work, this inline 8-cylinder sure does know how to fly. “Unique” would be an incredibly conservative word for how radical this build truly is!
