Blown CORVETTE Takes Out LIGHT POLE!!!

Racing on the street generally carries with it a greater amount of danger. Even when the streets are closed off and safety crews are at the ready, a lack of traction can put any ride in peril.

This time, the car in question is a supercharged and nitrous driven Chevrolet Corvette that happens to be participating in street drags during the Small Town Weekend in Reno, OK.

We watch helplessly as the driver gets out to the end of the track and the tires will hold no more as it veers off of the designated racing area and crashes into a light pole.

Check out the video below as the car careens into the pole and flips over. Luckily, it looks like the driver walks away ok as the safety equipment did its job. This could have been one ugly ride.
