When it comes to getting down the strip in a hurry, there are a variety of different applications to fit your particular horsepower wants and needs.

This time, the power comes from 427 cubic inches of Duramax diesel and it’s all planted in a Banks Top Diesel Dragster that hits some impressive marks.

In this video, we ride along onboard as the dragster clocks in with an impressive 7.67-second pass while reaching speeds of just over 173mph. However, the dragster has been slightly faster with an all-time best of 7.17-seconds and trap speeds of 190mph.
