Underground Racing’s Twin Turbo Lamborghini Aventador!
Underground Racing’s Twin Turbo Lamborghini Aventador!
The Lamborghini Aventador is already an impressive car in stock form. The only problem is that their 700 horsepower has been trumped by a force-fed pushrod V8. We’ve all seen the videos of one getting outran by Hellcats on the web. I would be embarrassed to drive my new exotic for the first time and get smoked by a car a fifth the price. Underground Racing has a cure for this; their twin-turbo Aventador. This is not just a twin turbo Aventador, but the top dog among UGR’s packages. The 1R Race package is so extreme that they don’t even list the price on their website.
Ryan Fowler recently took the dive and sent his car to UGR and they didn’t play around. The stock block couldn’t keep up with the power they wanted, so this car has a completely built race-spec short block with billet connecting rods, custom CP race pistons and much more. They also installed their custom clutch, billet flywheel, billet axles and front and rear differentials to handle the insane power this thing puts down. It has an M1 MoTeC ECU with Underground Racing‘s custom firmware and ECU harness by John Reed Racing.
This all sounds impressive, but numbers are what matter, right? Here’s a number for you, 1,550 horsepower at the wheels. That’s right. A 1,550whp AWD Lamborghini in full street trim. It isn’t a cut-up racecar. This is an insane street-legal racecar with full interior and street tires. Their 1,200 whp version did 0-60 in 2.2 seconds. What do you guys think this thing will manage? I’m just ready for a 4-wheel burnout. If you aren’t impressed yet, check out this video that will change your mind.
Is the Lamborghini below the fastest in the world?
