When it comes down to watching cars racing on the silver screen, there are a couple of aspects of the scene that we’ve grown to expect that make these kind of sequences extra corny.

Today, we take a walk back to where all of these cheesy on screen antics were rooted as a race sequence from the movie known as “The Wraith” is just so odd that we can’t look away.

When this second generation Chevrolet Camaro lines up with what appears to be some sort of 80s concept car with a glowing engine, we know the scene is about to get good!
