For those who have been paying close attention, they might have noticed that reaction videos to the noise and vibrations coming from Top Fuel NHRA cars has become a thing. Those who have never been near one should definitely put it on the bucket list. These cars will make their entire body vibrate with their monstrous power and torque. It really seems like one of those one-of-a-kind experiences. There aren’t many other places where spectators can sit and wait to feel 10,000 horsepower or more course through their bodies.

This time, we catch up with a guy who doesn’t really look like he’s expecting the cars to be as loud as they are. Nobody in their right mind who knows what’s coming would dare to stand that close without ear protection. On the list of essential items, they’d probably be at the top for spectators of a race like this one! Too much exposure to some sound like this is enough to cause permanent hearing damage, for sure.

On the other hand, the guy holding the camera probably knows what’s about to drop on his buddy’s head. He just sits and waits for the machines to go wide open throttle. From there, it’s game on as the Top Fuel machines scream down the race track. The scene is really set up for the ultimate in viral video stages. We’re not sure if he loses friend points for this one.
