Tesla P90D Sets Electric Car World Record in 1/4 Mile!

Electric cars have truly come a long way from the visions of them that we had a couple of years back as they were pictured in pop culture. Looking back, it looks like we were wrong by quite a bit.

Instead of futuristic looking entities, we have rides like the Tesla Model S P90 Ludicrous cruising the street in style and saving money on gas while doing it!

This time, we catch up with the Model S as it sets a new record, becoming the fastest electric car in the world with an 11.2-second quarter mile time at 118.4mph.

Check out the car in the video below as it blasts home a time that’s quicker than 90% of the sports cars to come out last decade! That’s not bad for no gas expenditure.
