Air Force Aerial Refueling Mission At Night: F-22 Raptors And KC-10 Extender
Imagine hanging thousands of feet above the ground and having to maneuver a spout from your plane into another vessel let’s also traveling hundreds of miles per hour with you.
Now, if that sounds like something that’s just a little bit challenging, imagine trying it all out without the presence of daylight to make everything visible.
In this one, we check out a collection of USAF Pilots and Airmen as they prepare their aircraft for a refueling mission revolving around U.S. F-22 Raptors with the use of a KC-10 extender.
Check out the video below that shows the flight over Southeast Asia in which these aircraft get a small taste of a little bit of fuel way up in the sky and we’re along for the ride!
