Tesla Model S P100D breaks the 1/4 mile mass produced electric car world record
The Tesla has been making major waves out on the drag strip, a place that not too many would have expected to see an electric car before the release of this monster.
However, since Tesla has been mass producing electric powered automobiles, their cars have put the entire community on watch as many who have experienced them have seen that they can pull out some great numbers on the strip.
This time, we ride along with Tesla Racing Channel at the Fayetteville Drag Strip as they pulled out their Tesla Model S P100D to do a little bit of testing as the record is chased down.
Before, the channel set the record with their P90D as it went a 10.80 and now, with the new car, they would try and punch that even deeper.
Check out the video below as the P100D breaks the record again by a mere one-hundredth of a second on a poor run. Just imagine what this thing will do on a run where everything clicks.
