1,300hp Speed Society Camaro vs a stock 400hp Camaro SS
When you look at a car like the Chevrolet Camaro, you have to respect what it is. With 400 ponies under the hood from the factory, it most definitely isn’t a bad bang for your buck as it’ll throw you back into your seat for a reasonable MSRP.
This time, Matt Farah pulls one of the cars out of the Speed Society garage in Josh Kalis’s 1969 Chevrolet Camaro to see exactly how much faster it’ll move than a stock Camaro. With a 6.0L LS engine under the hood, Josh’s Camaro shares a little bit of architecture with the newer car, but just so happens to have a little bit more power.
With a set of twin Bullseye turbos strapped to the engine, it makes an astonishing 1300 hp which would prove to be a heaping handful for the factory car as you might expect. Farah’s face really says it all as he lays into the throttle and feels the beast unleashed.
