Top fuel front engine dragster crashes and snaps in half, driver walks away

In this throwback, we head back to the new millennium, the year 2000 in Bakersfield, CA for the last qualifying session of the Nostalgia Nitro Top Fuel Front Engine class where things went awry in the most epic way possible as this driver, Dave Uyehara goes on a wild ride.

We watch as the machine launches like a rocket and before we know it is heading sideways in a 360° spin and rolling over a host of times. Just when you think it’s over and the accident is going to come to a close, the car splits itself in half and makes the crash even more dramatic.

Somehow, some way, the driver was able to walk away from this crash of epic proportions. To be honest, we’re not really sure how because this accident is right up there with the worst that we have ever seen.
