The Cadillac CTS-V is, without a doubt, one of the most competitive luxury machines out there on the track today and this time, we check one out that has been taken from its state as a potent yet civil luxury performance machine and transformed into the ultimate screaming street car.

We follow along with this amazing ride as it hits the track at Maryland international Raceway to attempt to knock its very own record even deeper. Previously, the car went an 8.3 in the quarter mile without even making a full pass down the track and this time, it’s out for vengeance and doing a full pass.

With a killer twin turbo setup that forces air through a 420ci LSX powerplant, Jerry takes to the track with the 2000hp Cadillac to see what kind of elapsed time numbers it can pull in when it blasts through the quarter mile at full speed which just so happens to be over 180 mph.
