What’s inside a Handgun? Cutting a Gun in Half with a 60,000PSI Waterjet

The YouTube channel What’s Inside is all about finding out – yep, you guessed it – what’s inside different things we encounter in our every day lives. From laptops to fire extinguishers, these guys are all about revealing the inner workings of all things.

Just as much a part of what they do is how they do it, using different methods to open up the items they’re sharing with us. In one of the most purely badass ways to find out whats inside an item, the YouTubers grabbed a Taurus handgun and found a waterjet to use to slice it right down the middle. Even with 60,000 PSI on tap, the son in the video is unsure HOW water will cut metal, but he thinks it will. And cut metal it does, making it look effortless to cut the large frame Taurus perfectly in half. With the gun split open, we get a unique look at the inner sections that we rarely get to see except in diagrams and animations.
