SPE 6.7L Powerstroke Makes 1025hp on Fuel Only!
It’s no secret that diesels crank out gobs of horsepower with relative ease, usually just requiring upgraded fuel systems and a solid tune to crank out four-digit numbers on the dyno.
This 6.7 liter Powerstroke from SPE Diesel is a perfect example of that, using nothing but tuning and copious amounts of diesel fuel dumped into the engine to spin the rollers to the tune of 1,025 horsepower and, in true diesel fashion, laid down even higher torque numbers, a punishing 1,500 foot-pounds to be exact. All that power and torque on hand should make towing anything short of a cruise ship seem like child’s play, and the truck should lay down some impressive numbers at the dragstrip.
What we want to know is how much more power this torque monster will lay down when they hook up those nitrous bottles in the bed! Maybe the guys as SPE will see this and turn it loose with the spray and let us know!
