This Fast and Furious 8 RC Edition is Amazingly Perfect!
The Fast and the Furious saga is a film series that has obviously acquired quite the fan base as it has spanned just over a decade and a half at this point and is still managing to bring in unimaginably big numbers every time that they come out with another installment in theaters around the world.
As you could imagine, after such a long time, a big portion of this fanbase is incredibly passionate about the film series and, as a result, we see various fan projects from short films like this all the way to those who have gone to lengths as far as creating replicas of the cars seen in the movie, except in real life.
Inspired mostly by the mountain chase scene in Furious 7, this time, we check out what happens as the crew behind the Devin Supertramp YouTube channel re-create the scene with their own little twist and the most impressive part is that it’s done with remote control cars alongside real life actors. It really creates a scene that is able to somehow grab your attention even though you’d think corniness would prevail with the RC element. However, they’re able to overcome that!
Check out the video below that shows off what they call a “labor of love” that most certainly has a lot of time and effort lumped into it to make it look almost like the real thing. There are a lot of shots here that will probably make you wonder how exactly they went about capturing them and making them look like a Hollywood production all with the minimal materials on hand.
