A closer look at Mopar NHRA driver Leah Pritchett
Speed Society Racing team driver Leah Pritchett is having a stellar 2017 season behind the wheel of her Don Schumacher Racing top fuel dragster, having won three races, setting the national elapsed time record and is currently sitting atop the points as the season nears its halfway point thanks to consistent solid qualifying efforts and late-round appearances.

Despite being the face and voice for her team, Leah is quick to point to the crew and their dedication and hard work as the reason for her successes. Spending sometimes weeks at a time on the road with her team, they have developed deep mutual trust with one another that permeates their lives between the races and really shines when they come together to put Leah and her Papa John’s Pizza-sponsored digger in the winner’s circle.
In this short interview, Pritchett discusses the root of her passion, as well as sharing some advice for other young ladies looking to follow her into the automotive arena.
