Domino’s Pizza Announces today they will be testing self driving Ford Fusion delivery cars.
Domino’s Pizza and Ford Motor company are teaming up to test the first ever self-driving pizza delivery cars in Michigan, as a component of a push to better see how clients react to and connect with independent vehicles. In the weeks to come, there will be Domino’s customers in Ann Arbor, Michigan that will have the an option to accept pizza’s delivered from a Ford Fusion Hybrid autonomous research vehicle. Every car will be driven by a Ford safety engineer, with different analysts locally available, who will focus in on the last 50 feet of the client encounter.
Any of the customers in Ann Arbor will be able to track the exact location of their order by using the Domino’s Pizza app and will be sent a code that matches the last four digits of their phone number to be used to unlock the “Pizza container oven” that will hold the pizza ” You Got It”.
