This Big Old Boat is Definitely Top 5 on Our Sleeper List, The Driver Really Makes it Pop

When it comes to a sleeper, there are lots of factors that you need to consider. By pure definition, it’s definitely a car that doesn’t look fast but when that throttle was pushed down, it has some performance hiding out under the hood that will surprise just about anyone who isn’t familiar with what the car is. Therefore, the bigger and uglier the car, the better. You can get bonus points if the car looks close to stock which this one definitely does. Furthermore, if the car is beat up a little bit, you get a gold star to match your bonus points.

This time, we check in with a machine that most certainly is the ideal version of a sleeper. There is absolutely nobody who would have ever thought this thing with would end up rolling out as quickly as it does and if you told us otherwise, well, we would probably have to call you out and have a little conversation. However, that’s neither here nor there as we watch this thing absolutely blast off of the line as it uses its LSx power and turbo as aided by nitrous to make magic happen, throwing the driver back in his seat as he’s going on a ride!

Now, not only is this machine the ideal sleeper as it doesn’t look like it’s up to any sort of racing, but the driver makes this machine come together perfectly. When we get a shot of the inside of the cab, it’s hilarious to watch as he’s thrown back in his seat, struggling to lean forward and grab that shifter to bang the next gear and continue down the drag strip.

Once he does complete the race and gets his time slip, the driver’s reaction truly makes us happy to be a part of the racing community. This guy is just so excited about that result and if you have ever chased down a goal and achieved it, you can probably identify with all of the emotions that he’s feeling right about now.
