Customer Causes Complete Chaos in Dealership Showroom
When it comes to the problems that you could think of arising at a dealership, you might think that somebody going to joy ride one of the vehicles might be the worst of their problems. While we’re sure that car dealers probably have their fair of ups and downs, I don’t think that too many have had to deal with problems like this on a regular basis. In fact, things here just got so incredibly crazy that the authorities had to be called in to make an arrest with guns drawn. This certainly isn’t the story that you hear every day.
As it turns out, when the employees of this otherwise quiet secondhand car dealership would go to work that day, they would end up be greeted with a surprise the nobody had ever expected. On the showroom floor sat a used Acura TL just sitting there and waiting for a new owner. However, instead of being checked out by a potential customer, a man would get behind the wheel and start going absolutely nuts, firing up the car in the showroom floor as the keys were left in the ignition and from there, he would go on to blast the stereo system with the car ready to roll. As you can imagine, a situation like this with an individual that’s unpredictable could prove to do a lot of damage, especially when they have the ability to drive the car around in the showroom full of people.
Now, none of that ended up unfolding as the police were called to get the individual out of the vehicle before long any real damage was done but it definitely wasn’t an easy task. If you follow down the video below, you’ll be able to get the perspective of the general manager who was there that day and witnessed this all firsthand. He says that, from now on, all keys will be safeguarded to make sure that this doesn’t happen again.
