Setting 2 Stick Car World Records, then Fighting the Track Owners

If you just so happen to be a drag racer, there’s a good chance that you know that based on where you’re going to get your racing done, you can get a very different experience. Sometimes, things can go off without a hitch at a track as you’ll go there, spend your money to run, and be able to get as many runs in all night until your heart’s content spending the time whatever way that you need to, tweaking and changing things and not having to worry about if you’re going to be able to get another pass in. However, sometimes, management can be a little bit more strict, not really allowing you to get all the racing in that you would really like to. Sometimes, they can be in the right as drivers will try to take advantage and be shut down and other times, well, things might not be presented as they actually are to the drivers.

Now, this isn’t one that we’re going to touch and give our opinion on but instead, we will present the information and let you make the choice. As it turns out, this group of racers headed out to the local track, well, somewhat local, as they decided to try and knock out a couple of passes with some of their cars. Some of these cars even were chasing down records that would get them recognized across the country in their respective communities. However, when push came to shove and it was time to make a last pass, as it would turn out, the owner of the track was getting ready to shut the place down and pull the car right off of the line, not allowing the driver to make a final pass.

As a result of this miscommunication, it turned out that everybody got a little bit angry and tempers began to flare between the two groups. At the end of the night, nobody would leave on a happy note and nobody would admit fault. Be sure to catch the clip down below that shows off not only the record-breaking passes from the Ford Mustang and Chevy SS but also, a little bit of the backstory about what happened here and why these people would be driving home unhappy with their experience on this night, in particular. Be sure to sound off with your thoughts from your perspective.
