This Might Be The Most Ear Piercing Rotary We Have Ever Heard…

One of the many facets of the car community that we find be incredibly enjoyable is the sound that comes from that perfect setup. Whether it’s the growl of a big cubic inch V8 or the purr that comes from a four cylinder with the turbo strapped on it, everybody has their ideal engine sound and just the right combination can be enough to transfer a car into something impressive. I’m not sure what it is about this treat for the ears but hearing a symphony of exhaust notes can really be something that truly amplifies your experience with a certain car. Why do you think that, after all, people spend thousands of dollars on their exhaust systems?

Now, if you’re familiar with the rotary scene, you definitely know that this type of engine produces a unique sound that’s all its own. If you’ve been around them at all, you could probably pick one out of a crowd of cars. As soon as one of these things fire up, it might just act as one of the loudest engines that you’ll find on the car scene, belching out a high-pitched tone as these engines absolutely scream, even at an idle. Once you get into different applications with different amounts of rotors, the sound can differ between each one of them.

We have to admit that this Mazda RX-7 is probably one of the most ear piercing exhaust notes that we have ever heard. We aren’t saying that it’s for better or for worse but I think that pretty much everybody can be on the same page with thinking that this car is clearly one of the loudest sounds that you’ll find around the car community!
