The $231,000 Gift A 15-Year-Old Says She Expects To Receive On Her Sixteenth Birthday
For the majority of people are out there working their fingers to the bone, something like a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon might be something that’s a vehicle that you admire, maybe one that, after years of working and a little bit of saving up, you can eventually be able to climb yourself behind the wheel of, perhaps maybe getting a used one to knock a couple of dollars off of that hefty price tag.
It’s most certainly not a vehicle similar to the one that the vast majority of us maybe have had handed over to us as our first car when we turned 16, if you were even lucky enough to get help at all. In fact, if I can just make an assumption here, I think the most 16-year-olds end up with something that’s safe and reliable but probably not too fun to look at.
However, as it turns out, not all 15, soon to be 16-year-olds have the same expectations when it comes to what they will be wheeling around in when they get their first car. I think that, for most 16-year-olds, they would probably be grateful if their parents handed them over anything at all or helped them to purchase their first car. However, for this 16-year-old, she wouldn’t have anything less then the G-Wagon that we previously mentioned, a vehicle that clocks in with over a quarter of $1 million dollar price tag. According to this youngster, it seems like she pretty much thinks that it’s owed to her, even if it comes at the expense of her mother having to take the bus after buying her the vehicle.
If you follow along with the video below, you’ll get the tour of the vehicle that she thinks should be handed to her when she turns 16 and her mother’s feelings on the purchase. I’m not sure about you, but personally, I think that mom has a little bit of an explaining to do to her daughter in order to kind of set her expectations back on track once again.
