Regular Car Reviews Takes on the Callaway Corvette Aerowagen!
With the Chevrolet Corvette being one of the most commonly modified vehicles in all of the car scene and one that you’ll commonly find at car shows, finding a way to stick out by owning one can definitely prove to be a little bit difficult. However, there’s a good reason for purchasing one as it’s a very proven platform and one that rarely leaves the owner in disappointment when done right.
Upon purchasing a Corvette, the roadmap is pretty much laid out in front of you for whatever route you want to take in terms of performance, whether it be making your way down the drag strip or carving through the corners with the most efficiency possible. However, if you want to buy a Corvette and stand out from the crowd at the same time, there might be a couple of options out there to dive into, one of which being the Callaway Corvette Aerowagon.
If you’ve never heard of the Aerowagon it’s because this variant of the Corvette is an incredibly limited run from the aftermarket performance company that essentially takes the Corvette as we know it, throws some extra performance under the hood, and adds a hatch that protrudes out of the back instead of fading down to the rear fascia like you’ll see with a typical Vette.
If you follow along down the video below, Mr. Regular from Regular Car Reviews gets his hands on one of these machines and gets to take a look at it, dissecting the car with his deadpan outlook on exactly who would drive this kind of thing and what makes this kind of car something that may or may not be worthy of sinking your money into.
After checking out the car, in-depth, be sure to tell us if you’d be willing to lay down your bank account for the additional performance and an extra two cubic feet of storage that comes along with it in this off-the-wall Corvette variant that’s sure to raise some questions.
