Helicopter Refills Bucket From Pool to Help Extinguish Nearby Fire
In an emergency situation such as a fire, as the emergency response team, it’s imperative to think on your feet to get the situation handled in the quickest and most efficient manner possible. Sometimes, this might mean going out of your way and trying out some creative measures in order to get the job done because it is, after all, life and death that are on the line as a direct result of these choices. With that in mind, I don’t think that the owner of this pool will mind if the emergency crew snags a little bit of water
For this helicopter operator, efficient thinking meant scooping some water out of a nearby swimming pool in order to contain the blaze that his team was trying to put out! It’s pretty wild that this operator is able to lower down the bucket with perfect precision and dip it into the pool to get it to the scene of the emergency as to get the blaze extinguished as fast as possible and attempt to save as much damage as possible. Sometimes, you’ve just got to do what you’ve got to do.
Check out the video below as the pilot must operate his craft with extreme precision in order to not disturb any of the surroundings. According to the uploader, scenarios like this are only done as a last resort, but the result seems to be both effective and an interesting watch! It might look like something simple as you watch it all go down but, in reality, that has to be some really tactful maneuvering so that he doesn’t end up breaking anything or failing to get the job done as to leave people in danger. After checking this one out, be sure to tell us what you think of this pilot’s ability!
