Pickup Truck Beatdown, These Guys Don’t Care About Their Rides
When you head out to an off-road park, there is always a selection of vehicles for every taste and every level of obstacle difficulty. Most of them are highly modified to be able to handle the beating because these machines are really put through the wringer with more than their fair share of abuse as, normally, we see the likes of rock bouncers, crawlers, and side-by-sides going to work that have been designed with just this purpose in mind, but this time, we check in with somebody who was wheeling a rig that is a little bit different than what you’d expect to be taking on a gnarly hillclimb.
You guessed it, it’s a street truck, actually make that two, as this Dodge Ram owner alongside the owner of a Chevrolet Silverado, both in street trim have the heart to try and keep up with those purpose-built rigs, but we’re not too sure that the chassis and body are going to agree after this one is all said and done and the trucks have been put through their paces as the drivers throttle down and push the limits of what some of those factory components are going to be able to handle after tackling such a climb.
If you check out the Busted Knuckle video below, you’ll see the scene as the truck’s owner throws every care out the window and decides to beat on his ride until it does exactly what the fans want! Eventually, both rigs are able to make it to the top of the climb but there were certainly moments during this one that made us incredibly nervous as the trucks seemed to teeter on the edge of success and complete disaster with nothing but what came from the factory to protect them from a potential rollover!
