Building a Star Wars Landspeeder That Actually Drives
One of the beautiful things about movies is that there are so many different kinds to choose from. One of the most popular genres that has really blown up over the years is that of science fiction. In this genre, we find things that aren’t so possible in real life… Or are they?
It really seems like the way that technology is evolving will have us living in a sci-fi flick before long. Combine that with someone who has a passion for building things and we might just find some pretty interesting creations. This time, we dive into a build that is going to blow the collective minds of Star Wars fans.
There are tons of vehicles in the films to choose from. In fact, the possibilities are just about endless. This time, though, we’re taking a closer look at Luke’s Landspeeder.
With some of the creations that we see come to life on the screen with Star Wars, it would take millions of dollars in development in order to be able to create an exact replica in real life. However, with a little bit of creativity and elbow grease, something close might be able to materialize. It’ll also take somebody with a little bit of a vision to be able to see the whole thing through.
This time, we check in with a real-life Star Wars creation. In order to build the Landspeeder driven by Luke, YouTube’s favorite tinkerer is going to have to invest some serious time and materials. Collin Furze has been known for putting together more than his fair share of interesting gadgets and gizmos. From a jet-powered scooter all the way to a carnival ride in his backyard, the creations just keep on coming. This time, a sponsorship from eBay gives him even more free reign!
By following along with the video below, we get an idea of how his latest has come to life.
