Is the Urus a Real Lamborghini? Time to Get to the Bottom of This!

When we take a look at the top Italian supercar companies, many of them hold their reputation in very high regard. Naturally, when selling cars that are six and sometimes seven figures, branding is important. With that in mind, they have to be very careful about the vehicles that they produce. A couple of missteps and it could be rather easy to fall into the reputation pit of being unreliable or worse… not trendy.

At the end of the day, half of the appeal of the supercar is having something that everybody else wants. If a brand like Lamborghini were to look anything but exclusive, you can bet that a portion of their market share would likely be lost.

Therefore, when releasing an SUV, it’s not hard to see how this could be a tough decision to make. After all, the first go-around of the SUV by Lamborghini has become a repressed memory. Let’s just say that there’s probably a good reason that not too many people remember the Lamborghini LM002.

With that in mind, releasing the Urus came with more than a couple of question marks. Unlike other SUV manufacturers, this particular truck had to live up to the reputation of a supercar. Could Lamborghini possibly come up with just the right formula in order to make the vehicle as appealing as some of their other offerings while being slightly bigger and family-oriented?
