The Most Powerful C8 Corvette In The World Hits the Dyno
Usually, when a new car comes out, there might be a little bit of a rat race to see who can make it go fastest in the shortest amount of time. The competition is on, not only for shops looking to build a reputation but also for YouTube creators who want to feed their audience the best content possible.
With the latest and greatest C8 Corvette, there has been certainly no exception. In fact, it seems as if the rat race has been even more hectic as lots of folks are excited about the new configuration that the Corvette has brought to the table. The most recent generation is unlike any Corvette that we have ever seen before as the engine has been shifted from the front of the car to the rear.
As we have watched these things come to life, they have been exposed to twin-turbo setups and nitrous alike. This time, though, we dive into what appears to be the most powerful Corvette to have been built so far and it belongs to none other than Emelia Hartford. With this sort of power happening this soon in the timeline, the sky really seems to be the limit for the platform.
This time, we get to join in with the moment of truth as the car hits the dyno rollers to see how much power it’s able to crank out. When all is said and done, we’re lurking in record territory as the machine makes 1022 hp at the wheels. As far as we know, this is the first C8 to lay down four digits on the dyno. Even more, interestingly, it seems like there’s a little bit more left on the table with this one, at least if you ask the tuner.
It’ll be quite a ride to see where Hartford takes her ground-pounding thousand horsepower C8 from here!
