Car Runs Over, Bursts Fire Hose During LIVE Fire After Passing Police Barricade
Sometimes, we take a look at a particular situation and can’t help but feel like it’s a total head-scratcher. For example, if somebody were to drive around a police barricade and into an active fire fighting zone, running over a fire hose in the process, we would really struggle to find what would prompt somebody to do such a thing.
However, during one particular active fire in Mobile, Alabama, one individual managed to find it within themselves to do exactly this. Not only did this person drive through the active fire fight but they also managed to drive over the hose and put a hole in it. Needless to say, a hole in a firehose is a pretty dangerous thing. Not only does it increase the chances that the firefighters aren’t going to be able to extinguish the blaze. It also raises the chances that the firefighters inside of the building aren’t going to be able to make it out alive.
We aren’t necessarily one to judge but apparently, folks in the comments of the video didn’t mind ripping this person a new one. This is where we found lots of folks chiming in with comments that were littered with words directed toward the driver, calling them “Selfish” and “Dumb.”
When all was said and done, the driver of the car was pulled over. The ticket would be $167 plus damage to the hose which is about $500 to $600. Again, we headed to the comments to see what people thought of the punishment and many urge that the fines should be higher because such an action directly raises the risk for those inside of a burning building in an already dangerous situation.
What do you think the punishment should be for someone who manages to go and pull off something like this?
