Adaptive Drifting: Hand Controls! Tuerck’d Season 3
Check it out as two experienced drifters hop behind the wheel of a drift car that uses only hand controls.
When the going gets tough, the tough… well, the tough make their own system of hand controls. In this episode of Tuerck’d, drifter, Rob “Chairslayer” Parsons seems to have mastered the science of adaptive drifting. That is, drifting without the use of the gas, brake, or clutch pedals.
Parsons didn’t exactly have a bolt in application that would suit his needs, so he engineered it himself. The hand controls do everything that the pedals do and may even do it better. Oh, did we forget to mention that the beast is powered by a supercharged LS1 as well? Yeah, there’s that as well.
When Ryan Tuerck and Chris Forsberg test out his newly built system in an intense head-to-head drifting competition, things get interesting.
