Alex Taylor Killing Some Tires in Her Nasty First Gen Camaro! 🎥

If you aren’t familiar with the name Alex Taylor, there’s a real good chance you will be soon. Those of you who do know who she is can verify that Alex has all the makings of a pure hot rodding badass, with the added bonus of being a beautiful young woman.

Alex’s ride is a bit of a family project, but she’s been hands-on since the beginning when the car was just an 11-second NA cruiser. Over the past few years, the car has evolved into a legitimately quick car on the track while maintaining perfect street manners, so much so that Alex actually drives the car daily. No matter that the boosted 6.0 liter LS engine cranks out over 1,000 horsepower, it’s perfectly at home on the street or the track thanks in large part to Alex’s tuning skills. As one of the nation’s first Holley-certified Dominator EFI tuners, Alex has plenty of knowledge and experience on the keyboard.

Don’t let that fool you, though. Alex was deeply involved in the car’s construction from the word go and has no problem getting her hands dirty turning wrenches. She participates in Drag Week and the Rocky Mountain RaceWeek events, and we have to assume plenty of other races and events, handling the grueling week-long marathons on her own.

In the quick clip below, you can see Alex lighting the hides on her F-Body, sending a huge cloud of smoke into the rainy sky. With twin 66mm turbos pumping the LS full of air, the car spools up quick and makes a ton of power, making burnouts like this little more than an afterthought. Alex is quite the impressive young lady and is building a resume that any gearhead would be proud of, such as completing both Drag Week and Rocky Mountain Race Week as well as having already been in the 8-second zone in her daily driver.
