Andy Mcmillin, Bryce Menzies Announce Partnership to Tackle Baja 1000, Most Grueling Race on Earth
Until one has actually been a part of an operation like this, it’s really hard to tell just how intense it is. These trucks are really assembled to be abused. By the end of a race like this, they’re sure to be put through their paces. Trophy truck racing really cranks up the volume and there is no race louder than the Baja 1000.
The race spans hundreds of miles in the desert as racers put themselves in the heat. With everything done right, they won’t break anything and the truck will make it out in one piece. This can be easier said than done, though. Let’s just say that this is a true endurance event. The event is as challenging physically as it is on the trucks.
This time, we check out the combo that’s going to be tackling just that opportunity. A video from Andy McMillin in preparation for the Baja 1000. It looks like he’s going to be teaming up with Bryce Menzies to pilot through the desert. The two were competitive drivers separately. Together, they’re bound to be a force to be reckoned with.
McMillin took to Facebook to say “Bryce Menzies and I are teaming up in my Red Bull Mason Motorsports Inc. #AM31AWDTT for the 2019 SCORE International #Baja1000. We will combine our teams’ assets and efforts and put everything we have into winning this legendary race.”
There are simply not too many experiences out there that compare to something like this. It’s going to be interesting to see how the pairing tackles the event together. As if taking them on separately wasn’t difficult enough, seeing them combine their efforts is bound to be an intense challenge.
The video below gives us a little teaser ow hat could be expected when push comes to shove and the duo takes on the Baja 1000.
