AZN’s VW Dung Beetle hit’s the dyno and makes 438hp
When it comes to racing, there are several ways to go about getting down the track in the fastest way possible given the equipment that you have in hand.
Sure, you could just throw a ton of power at something and hope that it works or you could go down another road entirely. We think that the latter is what AZN chose to roll with!
While the Volkswagen Beetle, affectionately known as the Dung Beetle, only makes 438hp on the dyno, you have to remember that this thing isn’t only light but it also seems to be able to hook on whatever road you want to put it on.
While the turbocharged setup doesn’t make the most power in the world, AZN seems to be running that setup to its maximum capacity, something that not too many racers can lay claim to – talk about being efficient!
