Badass Barn FInd… 1969 Z/28 SCCA Camaro Rescue!
Sometimes, the pure randomness that goes alongside a barn find can be incredibly exciting. When you crack open the doors to the barn to look inside, you really never know what you’re going to find. It could really be anything from a late model in economy car that simply didn’t do somebody right all the way to the rarest muscle car in all of existence and literally everything in between. That mystery is one of the factors that makes these barn finds so exciting to watch. You never know exactly what it is that you’re going to get.
This time, we ride along with a find that has us checking out a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro that has been hanging out in the barn for about 40 years, living a short life in the racing world before being put away, never to see the light of day for four decades! After a short stint in the racing world, the car would be tucked away, even after being extensively modified, and left to simply rot to the ground. I think most enthusiasts will see this video and kind of cringe a little bit at the condition of the car before getting more interested in digging deeper into the machine and thinking about exactly what’s all done to it and imagining all of those things that this car has been through in its life.
Follow along down the video below if you want to check out this barn find for yourself and be sure to tell us what you think of what’s left of this Camaro. With one look at it, it’s not too hard to imagine this thing roaring down a race track and giving whoever is behind the wheel the adrenaline rush of a lifetime. As of now, though, it’s nothing more than a shell of its former self.
