Frank Saponaro’s Chevy II wagon is one of the most well-rounded, do-it-all hotrods we have ever seen.
Not only does the gorgeous blue family hauler look amazing, it packs a hell of a punch as far as horsepower numbers. The wagon features a full interior, power steering, air conditioning and show-quality fit and finish that set it apart from the rest. However, the main attraction is tucked between the fender wells: a 555 CID big block Chevy with twin 83mm turbochargers cramming as much air into the intake as possible, helping generate these insane horsepower numbers.
Check out the footage below from Dyno Wars 2017, where Frank took home 2nd place after laying down a best of 1595 horsepower. Those fifteen hundred ponies push the cool blue wagon deep into the 7-second zone at 190+ MPH, all the while having the air conditioner and radio going full blast!
