The Top 5 Most INSANE Chevrolet Field/Barn Finds

1. Lambrecht Chevrolet Auction

The collection belonged to Ray Lambrecht and his wife, Mildred, who ran a Chevrolet dealership in downtown Pierce for five decades before retiring in 1996. Unlike most dealers, Ray Lambrecht stashed many of his unsold cars in a warehouse, at his farm and other spots around town if they didn’t sell in the first year.

For three days in September 2013, Pierce County, Nebraska, became a Mecca of Chevrolet collectors and the car curious. Gearheads from around the world converged on a muddy field to pore over nearly 500 cars that included dozens of never-sold, original ’60s models. VanDerBrink Auctions  got the word out and for weeks surrounding the event the Lambrecht Chevrolet dealership was the talk of the automotive community. Online bids submitted before the on-site auction fueled speculation that several cars would bring record prices.
