Bear Grylls Takes on a Flying Boat

Best known for his starring role in the Man vs Wild reality series on television, Bear Grylls has quite an interesting set of talents and knowledge. With these abilities, he has shown us that he can take on just about anything that nature has to offer. It doesn’t matter how obscure the situation, the guy just always seems to know how to get out of it.

This time, the situation in question puts him in a regular boat up against the likes of a flying boat. Little did we know, Bear Grylls also has a YouTube channel where he takes on all sorts of other interesting challenges. Some of these videos even show fans his more competitive side as Grylls likes to get into a race here and there.

In this one, the contraption in question looks like something that we probably all wish that we could at least get a ride on if not try to add it to our garages. The machine is known as an aquaplane which is owned by a good friend of Grylls, inventor, Kester Haynes. Unlike a seaplane, it seems as if this vessel is more for a local day on the water. It doesn’t go all that high above the surface but it still definitely looks like a great time. We could see this is almost being on that could be a direct replacement for something like a jet ski except obviously it throws a bit of an innovative twist in the mix to really turn things up.
